The Sacramento Dancesport Project is proud to support Dr. Genevieve Manzo in her participation in the NorCal AIDS Challenge. She plans to complete the 330-mile ride and raise $2,500 to support HIV/AIDS research. This month, April 17-19, 2009, take a private lesson for only $35 and write the check directly to Dr. Manzo. 2009-04-17
Performance at the Hawaii LGBT Youth Prom: On April 2, 2009, The Sacramento Dancesport Project will proudly perform at the Hawaii LGBT Youth Prom sponsored by Q Element at the UH Manoa Ballroom. Wishing everyone a safe and fun evening!
Hawaii Same-Sex Dance Workshop: We will be hosting same sex dance workshops on Wednesday April 1, 2009. The first, from 6:00 - 6:45 pm will be West Coast Swing. The second, from 6:45 - 7:30 pm will be a Latin Dance Sampler, including cha cha and rumba. Come join us for a fantastic evening at Dream to Dance Studio, located at 661 Auahi St., #201, Honolulu, HI 96813. The cost of a single workshop is $10, or you can do both for $15. Camille will also be available for private lessons from March 30, 2009 - April 4, 2009. Workshop registration encouraged, although drop-ins are welcome, space permitting. Congratulations to Sacramento Dancesport visiting instructor Benjamin Martin:On February 21, 2009, Benjamin won the London Open Pink Jukebox Same-Sex Dance Competition with his new partner, Gilles Hoxer.
